Sometimes the Seals Win

A picture is worth a thousand seals, in fact, hundreds of thousands of seals all basking in the sun. What a sight. While the hunters and their boats are trapped in the ice flows, the seals enjoy a sunny morning.

This Little Piggy Went To Market

But this is not fairy tale. It's a nightmare. This little guy fell off a moving truck on the freeway. Rescued for the moment, he stands dazed and injured. But his fate has not been altered. At the end of the day he'll be on somebody's dinner table. I think he knows this. It made me cry.
