Competitors race in yesterday’s Cheese Rolling event, an annual race thought to date to Roman times.Cheese Rolling ... that's what it says, and apparently it's been around (sorry) for quite a while. Who knew?

Seems like a shameful waste of a good cheese. I wouldn't want to get hit by the 40 mph cheese at the bottom of the hill. It might depend on whether it's a soft, young cheese or an aged cheddar though.
Methinks that even Brie would give you a good bruising at 40 mph :)
