The Cherub

Look at this little boat go! The crew is riding piggy back to get the weight far enough back to keep the rudder in the water.

See the little heart on the sail - that's the logo for the Cherub. The sail number indicates how many boats have been built and is used by the Race Committee to help identify boats in a race.

This boat appears to be piloted by a couple of maniacs. If I had to ride piggyback just to keep the rudder in the water, I think I'd take up saxophone instead. With a saxophone in my hands, I can take acceptable risks. Nonetheless, they look like they're having a blast.

One miscue and it's into the drink. Not such a bad thing if you're wearing a PFD and the water isn't too cold. I'm not quick enough for this kind of sailing anymore. Requires a sort of gymnastic mind set - maniac also comes to mind :)
